presentation

It was such a stress for me how I presented our group work.
We went to the place where our screen is located which was in foodcourt on Victroia Street.
The manager told us to get a cable that connects tv screen and our mac laptop.
We had to go to bondandbond, dicksmith, and newmarket to get the cable which was so expansive. when we came back to the food court, the manager told us that now we need another cable. so we had to buy it . it was also very expansive. we spent more than 100 dollars just for cables. that was not very good.

anyway we connected it and by 2.30pm we showed our project.
We were able to make it on time so that was good.
we couldnt get any sound because some how it didnt work.
and we were doing webcam that dectacts people and show different videos but that also
did not work out in that place : (

We had some advise that we could make it improvements.
Something like, size of the images were all different so that distacted the viewers,
did not have clear storyline and some of the images did not feat well into the subject.
So we have to make them look better for exibhition.

The very next day we bought 3 cakes for the manager who helped us alot for lots of time even though he was very busy doing his managing work for his food court. :)

I think it went pretty well, so I am pleased. : )

Urban Screen

I had new project to do. I was in Warren and Sarah's group.
We had to do urban screen. On the first day we went around
Auckland city to have a look around places where have screens which is for public.
We found some screens around the city, we wrote some places down on paper so
we could remember the places.

next day, we were planning what we are going to present on the screen.
We had several ideas that we could have.
Out of many ideas we decided the main topic.
'End of the World in 2012'.
We went to Kim to talk about this, ask him if it is okey and got more ideas
we could add to it.

We had to make it interactive. and we decided to use webcam.
For example, when person goes pass from the left, one movie clip about world end plays
and if person goes pass from the right, another movie clip plays.

Kim showed us some websites where we can find some informations and clips.
and we shared our idea with him.

We seperated our jobs.
I had to make the main storyline and go and ask the building manager so we could use the screen
and get images relate to end of the world.
Sarah had to do some research about it and get some videoclips and edit them.
Warren had to work on webcam using Max.

I went to a foodcourt with lots of screens in Victoria street. I met the manager.
He was warrying about lots of people coming in to foodcourt in busyhour and distract other
people. So he said he will contect me back and tell me the time when it is not very busy.

We had to bring our personal stuff that we have meaning to us.
We had to write about the stuff we brought in.
Then we put our stuff on the table, we did not know which one is whos stuff.
We could pick 3 different stuff and make 20 interview questions for each one.

It was really hared to give interview questions to something that could not answer
my questions. but it was interesting.

Diary

My Diary is like me, my life. My diary changes every year. Each year I get new diary that I will hold everywhere I go, every day. In my diary I write lots of things. I write my personal diary, put picures in it, write how much money I spent and where I went who I went withe and also plan for everyday. When I write this, I can see my life in a book. If someone else see my diary, they can tell What I did, What I ate, my feelings for the day. I keep my diaries and when I am lonely and upset, I look vack my diary. That makes me feel much better, because I know that I went through harder times. My Diaries are my life. My number one precious. And when I grow up and have children I want to give my diary to my children for present before I die...
